[Plugin: BuddyPress Activity Plus] Post Update button vanishes

Using Buddypress 1.5.5, BuddyPress Activity Plus v1.4, and either the BP-Fun or BuddyPress-Default themes, when the plugin is enabled and a user clicks any of the three buttons the Post Update button vanishes. Here’s a screenshot.
