[Plugin: Bulk Delete] Plugin doesn't work

The admin page for the bulk-delete plug-in loads but any action proceeds to load for a minute or two then produce a blank page with no apparent changes to the data. I tried a whole category, all private posts, and a whole category with a limit of 1000, then 100, then 10 – always get no action performed and no output on screen.
