    Hey Support!

I’ve always used Google Tag Manager to track all things Google – Analytics, Adwords, Conversion Linker pixels have always functioned properly.

I added this plug-in to see if there was any additional benefits that I could gain. As soon as the plug-in was added, a notification popped up that I should de-activate one or the other. I decided to stick with what I knew, and immediately de-activated this plug-in.

However, now our conversion value for Google Adwords AND Snapchat (both located in Google Tag Manager) is zero, although there are purchases coming in from each marketing channel. Please help me troubleshoot what could have possibly went wrong, nothing in Tag Manager was changed and I’m quite confused what happened.

Side note: There are other pixels on tag manager that are correctly passing back conversion value, so it seems the only two that were affected were Adwords and Snapchat.

Thank you so much in advance!

    Hi @zimbawhitening

How long has it been since this happened? You might try clearing your cache if you’re using a caching plugin.

Also, if you wouldn’t mind sending a link to your site, I can see if anything jumps out at me in your header/footer.

The link to the site is: https://shopzimba.com

I tried clearing cache and it didn’t solve the issue. This issue occurred on the first of the month and the plug-in was only active for about 30 minutes before being taken down from the site.

    Thank you for your help!

When you set up Google Tag Manager originally, I assume that they gave you code to install on your site? I would confirm that the code is all still there (or possibly even replace it).

Nothing really jumped out at me on your site as far as the GA plugin goes. Most likely, something has gotten out of sorts with the script you originally installed to track with Google.

I’m using a plug-in for Tag Manager installation, Google Tag manager for WordPress. So I’m not sure what could have happened. I de-activated the plug-in we use and re-activated it to see if that had any effect but the Conversion Value that’s being passed back is still 0. However, when I inspect the data layer, the transaction total is successfully being recorded.

    I need help!!

Is there any support that I could speak with on the phone? This has caused a major issue on our website and this plug-in isn’t even on the site anymore! I’m not sure what else to do.

I’m afraid we don’t offer phone support. I’ve reached out to our developers to find out if there’s a chance our plugin would have left any code on your site that could be causing an issue. I’ll update here once I hear back from them.

In the meantime, if you’re comfortable sharing it here, could I ask you to share your System Status Report? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

That information might help us figure out what is going on. 🙂

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to go ahead and mark this thread as resolved. If you have any other questions please feel free to start a new thread.
