This plugin in blocking admin from even logging in now – bad coding?

We’ve had this plugin for a year and now all of a sudden today no one – admin and everyone else – can login to the page. So it essentially blocks EVERYONE now.

Got it deactivated and got into page. Reactivated it once in the site to see if I could see what was going on and it completely knocked me out again. So had to deactivate the plugin again. Don’t see any other option than trashing it now.

here is the error message we got:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_doing_ajax() in /home/hirehero/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ip-geo-block/classes/class-ip-geo-block-util.php on line 288

    Hello @kat33,

I’m sorry about this issue and thank you for the information of fatal error.

I’ve just released a new version 3.0.3.3 addressing to fix the issues. I’d appreciate if you try it and let me know the result.

    Thank you so much, again.

I need to delete the plugin first right? I am unable to reactivate it without being thrown out.

    Hi @kat33,

Well I think it’s safe to install after deleting the plugin. But I’m afraid that deleting runs uninstall.php and it can cause the error again. In that case, please delete /wp-content/plugins/ip-geo-block directory itself.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation!
