I am having problems with the activated plugin causing problems with the hamburger menu not loading on mobile devices and contact forms through short codes (Ninja Forms) not showing up. Everything works fine when I deactivate the plugin. Will CookieYes still work with the plugin disabled?! It looks like there may be a way to use CookieYes without the plugin? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi @skahler,

    Greetings from CookieYes!

Please exclude the CookieYes script from the JS optimisation on your site. You may refer to this documentation to know more.

If you don’t want to use the plugin, you can disconnect and deactivate it and then add the CookieYes script manually to your site. However, the functionality will remain the same for both cases.

If you still face the issue after exclusion, please share with us a screen recording of the issue and the list of devices on which the issue persists.

You may share these details privately via this link.

Excluding the CookieYes Script from SG Optimizer Plugin with the suggested snippet did seem to do the trick, though I had to get to the file in a different way than outlined in the directions at the link above. There wasn’t a Theme File Editor available to me in the WordPress dashboard, so I had to find the correct file through the File Manager in the SG Site Tools. Thank you.
