Plugin changes URL to IP address

    It’s quite strange, but occasionally, I see that the URLs on my website when using WP Super Cache actually changes to the IP address of the server instead of the website URL. This is “fixed” by me manually resetting the cache but surely this should be fixable. Why does this happen?

    It’s really annoying because it also doesn’t look very professional when the URL is changed to something like 37.92.199.22/article instead of url.com/article.

    Any ideas?

    You might have the IP set as the name of the site somewhere in WordPress?

    What happens if people visit your site using the IP? Are they redirected to the name? Maybe that is what is happening, and the plugin is caching those visits. You could add a .htaccess rule redirecting those users to the correct URL.
