[Plugin: CloudFlare] Cloudflare direct dns and Google?

I like the option of having direct.domain.com with cloudflare for going directly to the server. I am thinking of using this for a separate development domain for testing purposes.

What would be the best way to block search engines?

What is the best way to have the whole site use direct.domain.com? Going to a post loads the domain.com address.
