[Plugin: Co-Authors Plus] Upgrading from co-authors

    Trying to upgrade from the old co-authors plugin. I see that the upgrade.php file in the co-authors-plus plugin directory includes code to upgrade all of the old wp_postmeta based data from co-authors to the new form, but I’m not sure how to get it to run. Any help would be appreciated.

    When you activate the plugin, it should automatically run the upgrade. However, if you have a lot of posts, it might fail so you may have to run the update manually.

    Thanks for the reply. It appears that the upgrade code did not run when the plugin was activated. Please forgive my lack of experience, but how would I go about getting the update to run manually? Is this just a matter of including the php script on a wordpress page and calling coauthors_plus_upgrade(1)?

    Managed to get the upgrade script to execute and all is good now. Thanks for a great plugin!

    Flackshack, can you tell me how you got the upgrade script to run? I am trying to do the same thing, if possible.

    I also need to know how to run it manually. I installed the plugin and my co-authors aren’t showing up for previous posts. Any help is greatly appreciated!
