Plugin compatible with NCA standards

    Dear Team,

    As we going to use ‘WooCommerce plugin’ on our platform so we want to know that your plugin is compatible with below standards. 

     1) NCA approved solution compliant with 

    • national data governance interim regulations version 1 june 1st 2020 
    • national data management office data management and personal data protection standards version 1.5 january 2021
    • cscc – 1:2019, ecc – 1:2018 

     2) ISO – 9001 and 27001.

    Hi there,

    WooCommerce is open source and development happens publicly on the repository here. The core product is available for free and doesn’t enroll for audits from any authorities.  That said, anyone is allowed to audit the software, as it’s available for free. The community takes all efforts to be compliant across almost all country regulations that may exist.

    We cannot say for sure whether the exact standards you have mentioned above are all fulfilled by WooCommerce by default however, due to it being an open-source platform I would suggest you reach out to an attorney to make sure that you are within the laws and regulations of the country you are planning to operate your store from.
