Hi,
Thank you.
Please have a look at the following screenshot:
https://skitch.com/dusttrace/8krim/contact-blink-films
The error is coming from http://www.samkent.com/clients/blink/wp-content/themes/blink/js/jquery.custom.js?ver=1.0 script, which belongs to your theme Blink … Try to replace $(window) with jQuery(window)
I am not sure what I can do here π
I think the coder of the script made an error… he uses everywhere ‘JQuery’, and only in one place he used a ‘$’ which throws an error
Hi, please update to 7.0.11 and see if you still get errors
Thank you for your speedy response π
The major error via Chrome’s dev tools is gone, but an additional 3 JS warnings appear once the map is loaded. Map still isn’t loading in FF π

Is it in 7.0.11? Will have a look… Mac or windows?
This is what I get in Chrome v17.0.963.79 on Mac:

If you are concerned about these warnings – I cant do anything with them, its Google and its images. These requests are not generated by the plugin it self.
This one is from FF v10.0.2 on Mac:

This one is from FF 11.0 on Windows 7:

What version of FF are you running and what platform
Thank you so much for getting back to me so quickly. Really appreciate it π
I’m running:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2.25) Gecko/20111212 Firefox/3.6.25
Map isn’t coming up at all in FireFox. No problem with the warnings. I understand they are generated by Google.
While I’m here, is there an easy way to remove the styles which are in-line on the class “google-map-placeholder”? I’d like to remove all the borders and background colour.

So it is FF 3.6.25, on mac yeah? Care to update :). ?
I will have a look anyway π
If you have access to the plugin files, look into HTML directory in ASSETS, it’s in one of the templates
I don’t mind updating, it’s those who don’t update I worry about π
Let me know if you find the bug in the current version of FF I’m running.

Hi,
Please try the Version 7.0.12. Having said that, it was all good for me even before the update π
BTW, when you say it does not load on FF – is there any JS errors?
Alexander,
I am also having the same issue when I test the plugin with
Mozilla 5
Firefox 3.6.6
Were you able to find a solution? It seems to work fine on all other versions of Firefox.
