After I activated this plugin, I could get to the Dashboard but not to my frontend (the blog). I get a message that says:

"Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

        * This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

    I wasn’t having this problem before …

  • FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) and delete the plugin’s folder in wp-content/plugins.

    That doesn’t work.

I think I’ve seen that behavior before. The login screen tries to redirect you to an appropriate page after you login, but in some cases it ends up redirecting to itself, causing a loop.

In the past I’ve been able to get around it just by opening a new tab and going to my blog’s home page or myblog/wp-admin/ URL and signing in again.

I don’t think it has anything to do with this plugin. Unless maybe you set the login timeout to zero or something.

Thanks for replying, n8v. That’s probably the case.

Good luck. Is it OK to mark this “resolved”?

    Yes.
