I started to use “WordPress Social Sharing Optimization” plug-in. However, I receive the following warning message from the plug-in

<SSO Warning : Plugin conflict detected — The AddThis Social Bookmarking Widget has incorrectly coded content and excerpt filters. Please uncheck the ‘Apply Content and Excerpt Filters’ options on the SSO Advanced settings page.

I currently use the “AddThis Social Bookmarking” widget for social sharing purposes such as Facebook Like, Twitter, Google+ and other buttons.

I wanted “WordPress Social Sharing Optimization” plug-in to insert optimum open graph meta tags for these buttons. However, the plug-in detected a conflict with Addthis Sharing buttons.

When I uncheck the ‘Apply Content and Excerpt Filters’ options on the SSO Advanced settings page, Addthis sharing buttons do not share the content in Facebook as it is expected to be.

Would it be a problem to fully use both plugins in case of this warning?

What would you recommend me to do in this case?

    Best Regards,

As explained, WPSSO cannot use the available WordPress filters to properly format your content text because “the AddThis Social Bookmarking Widget has incorrectly coded content and excerpt filters”.
