• A recent change to Simple Security Firewall has caused a conflict with the Styles plugin (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/styles/). I built a site this past summer and launched it with SSF and Styles about a month ago, and everything was good. Then yesterday I noticed all of the set styles from the Styles plugin were missing from the site. The only way I could get the styles to reappear on my site was by deactivating SSF. Can you recommend a fix so I can use SSF and Styles plugins together again?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Can you try disabling all of the plugin features and then turning them on 1-by-1 until the Styles plugin stops working? That way we can may be find what the cause of the problem is…

I tried deactivating the features one-by-one with no success. I even disabled all features from the Dashboard screen with no success. The only way I can see the styles of the Styles plugin is by totally deactivating the SSF plugin.

I just tried this with the twenty fifteen theme and I can’t replicate it at all. I can create custom styles and publish it, with or without the firewall running and it works.

I see absolutely no reason why this plugin would be interfering with a theme customizer… makes no sense to me whatsoever…

Well, that is strange. I can’t explain it, I just see it happening. Thanks for checking into it.
