Plugin conflict with WP Engine installation

I installed the latest version of the plugin. I use WP Engine as my host. But from the beginning the plugin has failed to perform any updating of plugins.

I have contacted WP Engine numerous times & they’re tried various fixes to see what might get it to work. But so far, we have no answers.

Is there any way for you to test the plugin on a WPE installation to see what may be wrong?

I use Thesis as my theme.
