[Plugin: Contact Form 7 Datepicker] Required date* validation error

    Contact Form 7 2.4.6
    Contact Form 7 Datepicker 0.7.1

    I recently upgrade to the latest version of Contact Form and Datepicker and now my date required field does not validate. If I remove the date requirement the form works fine.

    My form contained this
    [date* date-lost]

    and I simply changed it to
    [date date-lost]

    I upgraded from datepicker 0.5 and a compared the field validation code and it looked the same, unless something changed with Contact Form code?
