Plugin creates new categories instead of using existent | ww.wp.xz.cn

I try to import lots of movies from CSV file. I created category structure with parent category “Years” and subcategories “2014”, “2013”, “2012”, etc. When importing CSV file, importer creates new top level categories instead of using existent.

I think it was working well in previous version of plugin and WP4.01 and I only noticed problem after updating to latest couple of days ago.

Any ideas?

There is no change for check if the category has existed since the initial release. Please share your csv file. Thanks!

I’ve tested with your CSV file, but the problem has not occurred.

First, I created a “2014” category and parent category “Years”.
Then I imported your CSV file.
However, new top-level “2014” was not created.
Of course, other categories like “1963” were created in the top level of the category tree.
