[Plugin: Custom Contact Forms] Doesn't save the styles

I created one contact form to test this program and it was exactly what I wanted. The plug-in updated a couple of days later. Four days after creating the first form, I went to do the other 30+forms I needed to create for my site. The Styles screen had changed considerably, and it took a great deal of work to re-create the original styles I set up. And it was all for naught. The forms aren’t reading any style sheets — they’re just picking styles at random. I emailed the author and have not received a response in more than 24 hours. The plug-in supposedly allows you to set your own styles, but in fact, you will do a bunch of work to set up your style, and it will still pick up only the default style. And the author will not respond to tech support requests.
