• My form worked fine when I built it within the plugin and embedded it using the “Form Display Code”. However, when I tried to create a customized form in HTML, I followed the instructions in the “Advanced” tab and now everything works except for the file upload fields.

Content of all the text fields get sent in the email message but the attached files (images or text files) don’t come as attachments or appear in the “Saved Form Submissions” screen.

Has anyone seen this or have a solution for it. Thanks for you help.

  • I’ve got the same problem. No file anywhere on server or attached to email. I tried removing spaces from file name, removing max file size requirements. E-mail does show name of file, just no actual file anywhere. Form shows success message too.

    Hi,

Would you be so kind to post an example of your code used in Advanced tab?
I am trying to find the way to call external CSS instead the one that plugin makes in DB. There is so much more that we can do with CSS3 now – things not supported in form wizard.

    Thanks in advance 🙂

    p.s. I don’t need file uploading feature.

I simply copied the CSS that the plugin uses. It places the style tags (<style></style) just before the form code in the HTML of the page. I haven’t tested it but I assume you could just delete those styles and add a CSS link in your page header.

If that doesn’t work you could just edit the CSS in the style element.

Still wondering if there’s a way to attach files when using CCF as just a form processor. I’m now using the forms created by the plug in but they don’t offer some of the flexibility we would prefer.

Any solutions, let me know. Thanks.
