You mean on the front end or in the manager? If it’s in the front-end, I’d say just code it yourself: include the CSS/Javascript you need in your theme and print out the HTML you need. Plugins just murky the waters: not everything can or should be solved by them.

WordPress does include the thickbox stuff, but it’s deprecated and conflicts with some jQuery UI stuff.

    Got it!
It’s the best thing to do. I’m going to try immediately.
    Thank you very much!
I’m pretty new to WordPress (I have got experience with Joomla) and I’m still learning.

I’m a big fan of MODX: if you’re checking out systems and want one that is powerful, nearly infinitely customizable, and one that doesn’t make the stupid architectural mistakes of Joomla, WordPress, Drupal, et al, then MODX is hard to beat in my opinion. There are no silver bullets… WordPress is great for slamming out sites quickly, but I start losing my mind as soon as it comes time to customize things.

The website that I am building is in WordPress, and it’s almost finished, so I’m not going to change system at the point I am now. Maybe for the next project I could consider MODX as an alternative. So, thank you for your suggestion. It sounds very interesting!
I’ve just found some online documentation in my language (italian) and I’m going to explore this CMS as soon as possible.
