I just upgraded to the latest version of the plugin and I only have one custom field for my custom content type of “Price”. I fill it out as usual but now it will not save the data. When I click ‘update’ and the page returns, the field is blank.

Could you please specify the “latest version”? 0.8.8 is a major release and addresses a lot of the previous problems. Try uninstalling the plugin, then reinstalling a fresh version of 0.8.8; if you continue to have problems, please file a bug report at http://code.google.com/p/wordpress-custom-content-type-manager/issues/list
