    Hey!

    I’m using WordPress 3 beta 1 with Custom Field Template 1.6.3 and wonder what happend to the autoload of the templates. I always have to manual load/initialize the template.
    I use a custom post type with a mix of my own custom meta boxes and cft and i need cft to load the template for this certain post type automatically.

    Second issue is that
    type = textarea
    tinyMCE = true
    does not work for me.

    Is this because of WP3Beta or did i overlook something in the settings / Faq

    Cheers
    Kai

    I’ve got a similar problem with WordPress 3.0RC1, CFT v1.6.5.

    Using custom post types, etc. only the first template in the list autoloads for the first registered post type. The other post types and templates don’t autoload and have to be initialised manually.

    cheers,

    In WP 2.9.2, CFT 1.6.8, templates aren’t auto loading based on category either. I have only one template for each category, but am having to click load to see it.

    Some combinations of WP 2.9.x/3.0beta/RC and CFT 1.6.x did autoload some templates (usually the first one in the template list, if it applied to the post type), but not all of them.

    Currently developing with WP3.0RC1 and CFT 1.6.8 and it’s still not autoloading much. It’s not a big deal developing, but giving a site to an end-user and telling them all the WP admin things to remember will get a little tricky 🙂

    Just coming in to add that I am also experiencing this in 3.0-RC3.
