    Hello,

    I’ve just found this amazing plug-in, but I can’t figure out how to insert the custom field text into the article.
    I know just a little coding (HTML, PHP), but I don’t know how to do it. I tried the indications on WordPress regarding the Custom Fields, but if I insert that php function into single-post.php, it displays all templates. So there is was a total mess.

    I need a simple template, with labels and text fields where to insert different values. And I would like to insert that custom field box at the end of the post. However the values should be different from post to post.

    For example, check Tech Crunch to see that box at the end of the article.

    You have to put [cft]-shortcode to your post, when viewed, it is replaced by cft-template-code from “Admin Dashboard/Settings/Custom Field Template/[cft] and [cftsearch] Shortcode Format”.

    thanks, I set to insert the default template [cft format=o], but how can I insert the secondary template.

    I tried [cft format=1] and it’s not working

    any help will be greatly appreciated;)

    hi,

    I solved the problem. If you intend to insert the CFT code via formats then you should create the formats in the settings area. Format 0 is created by default. Use the same code as the default code in format 0 and create other formats that will display different types of boxes in the singlepost.php
