[Plugin: Custom Headers and Footers] Adding widgets – retaining style

Forgive the newbie question – just getting started with wordpress 🙂

If I install this plug-in, can I then add the menu widget and all those rss type things (as can be seen at the bottom of this page).

Also, I’m assuming it will retain my overall style (font, etc.)
