Hi Phil, this is fairly straightforward. You just have to modify the CSS for the forms using an HTML editor. I modified mine by selecting the “blue” theme, and modifying the file:
daves-wordpress-live-search_default_blue.css
Hope this helps!

Hi Brice,
Thanks for the tip! I was able to figure out how the results drop down looks. You can see what I ended up with HERE.
My question was related to how to change the actual appearance of the search box where you type in your search. I am guessing Dave’s WP Live Search plugin does NOT touch that aspect of the search function.
The author of my theme package, Weaver II Pro indicates this is NOT trivial.
“The Search Box is not trivial to style, and is generated by the theme’s search.php file. You would have to create a child theme, and modify that file and associated CSS to get a different look.”
Thanks
Phil
Sorry, styling the search box itself is out of the scope of this plugin. That’s between you & whoever built your theme.

Thanks for the reply… Yep, my theme provider, Weaver indicated that and for now I’ll just live with it. 😉
Thanks again,
Phil
