Plugin Deactivating Error

Hello! Thank you for the excellent plugin. It’s brilliant. We are big fans!

You may be able to help us with an issue we’re currently experiencing – we’ve not seen anything like it before and a Google search isn’t bringing up any results…

We’re using two plugins – WP RSS Aggregator and WP RSS Aggregator Feed To Posts. The latter is dependent on the first, and will not activate when plugin organizer is turned on, until we move WP RSS Aggregator to the top of the load order list, and then it activates fine.

For the past 3 weeks we’ve seen an issue where, seemingly randomly, around 35 of our 65 plugins suddenly become inactive – which of course knocks out our entire site. We’ve narrowed this down to the feed to posts plugin – it doesn’t happen if that isn’t loaded. When we try and activate it again, the aggregator plugin isn’t at the top of the load order list anymore and we have to move it again – we don’t know why that is happening either. I’ve been in touch with the plugin developer and they are flummoxed and have never seen anything like it.

I’m not saying it is plugin organiser that is responsible….but as you wrote it, and based on the above, I was wondering if you had any thoughts or insights on what might be going on and why the plugins suddenly de-activate?
