The “Select your currency” popup is not generated directly by X-Currency. It comes from the OptinCraft plugin, which X-Currency integrates with.
If the popup is still appearing, please check the OptinCraft settings in your dashboard and disable the currency popup from there. Once it’s disabled in OptinCraft, it will no longer show on your site.

Why was this second Plugin installed? Why does your plugin install a second plugin? when i select to install any plugin, i select to install ONLY that plugin and not some other 2nd plugin.
This seems very improper and unethical. Is wordpress aware of this practice? is this allowed?
This is not good at all.
The popup plugin is not installed without user consent. It’s only installed if you choose to set up the currency switcher popup for first-time visitors. In that case, a popup is required to display the currency selector, which is why OptinCraft is used.
If you don’t want to use the popup, you don’t need to set it up at all. It’s completely optional and not required for X-Currency to work. If you already set it up and later decide you don’t need it, you can simply disable or remove the OptinCraft plugin.
This behavior follows WordPress guidelines, and the additional plugin is installed only as part of an optional feature that you explicitly choose to enable.
