Hi Karan
This looks like it is showing the normal button for me, can you confirm this is now resolved? The Floating Bar hasn’t been changed to show the compact button so may have been a quirk on Twitter’s side.
Thanks
Hi Andrew
That happens when “Let Digg Digg bar float past the end of the post” is checked. Otherwise, the normal button appears.
Also, when scrolling down, the bar hides partially behind the static header bar. How can that be fixed?
Thanks
Hi Karan
That’s an odd one, i’ll check that out.
We set the floating bar to float 30 pixels from the top of the page when it has scrolled past the start of your post. Currently you can’t change this without editing the plugin. That’s the only obvious fix at the moment unfortunately.
Thanks
Hi Andrew
Can you tell which file to edit and what to look for?
Also, will you consider having this fix in the coming updates?
Thanks
Change “30” in diggdigg-floating-bar line 49 to the number of pixels required.
dd_position_floating_bar(30, dd_left);
We’ll look at updating this yes.
That fixed it. Thanks a lot Andrew.
Mind if I resolve this thread? I’ve noted down the issue with the compact button for the next update.
I’ll close it. Don’t worry. 🙂
Thanks again.
