Hi weiqinn,
we released an update that fix the issue you reported.
Gift card codes work great, but does not minus off shipping fees.
What do you mean? Generally coupons are not applied to shipping fee.
Best regards
I assume the OP is stating that the gift card amount is only applied to the order subtotal. I realize coupons are usually applied in this way, but in most stores, gift cards and gift certificates are applied to the order TOTAL (including tax and shipping).
For example, if the order is $20.00 (subtotal) + $1.60 (tax) + $5.00 (shipping) = $26.60 (total), a gift card or gift certificate of that amount or more would be expected to cover the entire $26.60.
From what I’ve been reading about WooCommerce gift card/certificate plugins, they are only applying the amount to the subtotal. So regardless of the gift card amount, the order above would still charge the customer at least $6.60 (tax and shipping).
This is not how most customers would expect a gift card to work. Is it possible to make the gift card to cover the entire order total?
I install the last your version and problem it’s the same.
Tell me the coupon isn’t a gift card and there isn’t any budget to use it in checkout page when client choose payment method.
We talked about it with the team and we decided to include in the next release an option to choose whether to apply the amount of the gift card to the total or subtotal.
Best regards

That would be spectacular! I really want to offer gift cards/certificates in my WooCommerce store (I currently have them in my X-Cart store), but I have not been able to find a plugin/extension that allows them to be used toward shipping. I know I will have many confused, frustrated customers wondering why their gift certificates do not cover shipping costs. So I will be anxiously awaiting your next release.
Thank you for addressing this issue!
