It’s a bit complicated to do that with the plugin. You’ll need to write an output filter to modify how the plugin outputs the results.

I’d recommend using Genesis Column Classes ( http://www.studiopress.com/tutorials/content-column-classes ) to break it into 4 columns. You’ll need to use an approach like this ( http://www.billerickson.net/code/add-classes-to-display-posts-shortcode/ ) to add the classes to each item.
