[Plugin: Display Posts Shortcode] Will not sort alphabetically?

    Hi,

    Loving this plugin, does just what I need. However, I can’t get it to sort alphabetically. I’ve tried changing ASC to DESC, and removing altogether, and it continues to place the most recently added item at the top. I tried changing to the default TwentyEleven theme, and it makes no difference. Any ideas?

    Hmm, have you tried disabling plugins to see if they’re interfering with it? What plugins do you currently have running on the site?

    I’ve tested this in a new WordPress installation with TwentyEleven and just this plugin, and the orderby functionality works.

    Thanks, I hadn’t thought of that!

    The culprit is the plugin Posts Types Order. Now that I’ve got Display Posts Shortcode working well, I shouldn’t need that anyway.
