    Hello,
As an intern I’ve been asked to make a blog for my company.
I’ve choose wordpress because of the multilingual plugins and I need to host it because we are in china (and the domain name wordpress.com her is banned).
Unfortunately their are one a very old debian setup (etch !) and it’s impossible to upgrade it (I don’t have enough time and experience to be sure all their website will be fully functionning after word).
Was really hard to install wordpress already (last php on etch was 5.2.0) but I managed to upgrade php manually (version 5.2.9). And I could finally install wordpress.
Everything seemed to work just fine but then I had to install qtranslate plugin (from the control panel with the research and all). Said “installed successfully” I then clicked sur activate. And have the Plugin does not have a valid header Error. I checked the files I chmoded 777 the directory. Everything is in order php are at their good place (not in sub directory which is common with this error).
I then thought it might not be the plugin but my wordpress. Tried with the most popular plugin next-gen gallery. Same problem…
    Please help me !!!!!
