Plugin does not pick up html emails in other languages

Hello,

after spending days following all step by step tutorials how to setup html emails in different languages I have to give up as the solutions here did not solve the problem.

My main website language is German. English, Spanish and Dutch are additional languages. I’m using WPML as plugin.

Using UM: I have a site where users can register and approval is manually done by admin.

I have created folders like this:

I would be happy to see that at least the pending_email and the approved_email are sent out, but instead of approved the standard plein email text “your acount is active” will be send out.

To get the plugin send out the German html file (pending_email I had to put it outside the folder, as it would be the original EN version…

This email is also only send out when registering via the english form: then the plufin understands that it has to send out an email (register form in German has no action, no email sendout).

Any help is appreciated!
