• I am using Lightbox plus here http://rockymountaincraftcoffeealliance.com/members/

I wanted to add a 53rd inline lightbox but it does not save settings. the first 52 work fine. I have deactivated and reactivated plugin and have used the reinitialize feature as well (which requires you to then change all your settings back)
Am trying to just save the width/height option to 50% like all others, but will not save.
Does this plugin support more than 52 inline lightboxes? It has the option to add 1000 so I would think so.
    Please help
    Thanks

  • I’ll add to this thread as well (saw it mentioned on your other question). I’m having the same issue. If I select 50 inline boxes, all is well. If I select 55, it will save settings up to 52 but not beyond (and in fact only partially – full width parameters not saved but I can save the width/height aspects on 53) and the admin formatting goes wonky (tabs do not show and are replaced by list of hyperlinks – everything displays on the page). Hope this can get fixed!

Yeah I’m at a stand still with this. After deactivating and resetting a few times I am convinced it’s just a plugin issue. Let me know if you find a work around or another plugin that works. Thanks

I’ve decided to build my own. I’m just testing it out now, but it’s pretty specific to the situation I’m in. It’s basically just using ColorBox straight from jQuery (not a modified version). I’ve set it up so that I can add any number of images and then when the user clicks on a link, their picture and bio information opens in the lightbox. I’ll probably modify it to be more general in a few days (on a tight deadline and have to get this done =) ). If you’d like, just post here (I get an email sent to me [I’m new to the forums so didn’t know that happened] ) and maybe we can figure out some way I can send you a copy (if you’d like).

Would love a copy of what you are doing. I heard it was more efficient to do it that way…just never figured it out.
[email protected] is my email if you want to share.

    Thanks so much.

    Hi Jay

You ever get your modified version working? I’m stuck, but thinking of scraping this plugin and moving on to a different option. If you got anything working please share. Thanks

I did get it working but it’s a fairly customized solution. I can provide it to you and you can take a look at the code and see if you could tweak it for your purposes. Basically what it does is take staff entries (posts with type = ‘staff’) and use them for showing up in the lightbox. I’m not sure if the ‘staff’ type is something from my theme or is a normal part of WordPress (I’m fairly new to the WordPress framework). There’s nothing proprietary in it, so it would be ok. =)

Sounds good. Would love to look at it. I initially tried that solution with the simple staff plugin, but to no avail. Will check out what you did and see if I can customize it.

    Thanks again

    Hi,

Sorry to barge in but I have the very same problem.

    Ideas how to resolve it?

    Thank you very much!

Unfortunately not. I ended up writing my own plugin and using that instead. If you’d like I can send you a copy and then you could modify it however you need. Mine is pretty specific to the task at hand (didn’t think I’d be sharing it =) ) but you’re welcome to use it and modify it however you need. But if you improve on it, can you send me the improved version? =)

    Hi,

It sounds great, I’d be grateful if you could share it. My e-mail is [email protected] and if some modifications happen I’d be glad to send them back to you.
