    Hi!

I would like my sidebar to be sticky on all pages. I have tried your plugin, but it does not work. I have used the settings below provided by the support team of Pipdig (my theme), but it does not help to make the plugin work…

    Margin Top:
    55 px

    Margin Bottom:
    0 px

    Stop ID:
    sticky_widgets_stop

    Refresh interval:
    1500 milliseconds

    Disable Width:
    0 px

    Disable Height:
    0 px

Can you help me out, please?

    Thank you.

    Brenda

    Hi Brenda

I took a look at your page. At the moment the plugins seems being enabled on your website but there’s no sidebar item assigned to be fixed now.

Did you activate the option (checkbox) for the element from your sidebar you want to be fixed (as you can see here: https://wpadvancedads.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/fixed-widget-for-wordpress-options.png)? If not please take a look at our instructions: https://wpadvancedads.com/fixed-widget-wordpress/

Where and how did you set the options you mentioned above? Which element should be fixed? I will take a look at your site again as soon as you write.

    Kind regards, Oliver

    Hi Oliver,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I don’t have an option the enable the checkbox. When I go to ‘appearance’ and then ‘widgets’ the Primary Sidebar is not there. I can go to ‘appearance’ and then ‘Fixed Widget Options’ and there the auto checkbox is on.

I also tried to add the ID manually in the code of the sidebar, but it’s not working either. I am not really a coding expert and afraid of making a lot of other changes.

    Is there another solution?

    Kind regards,

    Brenda

    Hi Brenda

Ok, I see the point. If you don’t have access to your sidebar widgets / elements via “Appearance” – “Widgets” then it’s impossible to make those widgets being fixed.
But how do you manage your sidebar items then?

It looks like your theme is not compatible with our plugin as you don’t have sidebar widget items to configure 🙁 I’m sorry.

    Kind regards, Oliver
