Hi there!

I have problem with Responsive Menu plugin and my own theme. I’m the begginer of WP so maybe can you show me the way I can handle problem with plugin.

I have installed it and turn it on. I have read the documentation and also I have changed the breakpoints (to 50000 actually:)). Still Responsive Menu doesn’t show on my website. It works with other themes but not with mine. What should I change or add to my theme?

Hi Bart,

For my plugin to work the theme needs to follow WordPress best practices as outlined below:

You can use the helpful checklist on that page too below:

https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Theme_Development#Template_File_Checklist

But in essence ensure the following:

1. You have the wp_head() function in your header.php file.
2. You have the wp_footer() function call in your footer.php file.
3. You have the body_class() function call inside the body element.

I believe as long as the 3 things above are met then all should work ok.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your help! I have forgot about adding wp_footer() in footer.php and I have added some functions in header. Everything works!
