Hi, I’m having the same issue but the plugin I’m using is WPGlobus. The design for my main menu is not loaded when i switch to another language. May I know where the issue is and what I can do to solve it?
Thanks.
Same problem here. Header is set to display on the entire site and includes the language switcher, but clicking on another language gives me a page without that same header.
Hello together,
Apologies for the delay in response!
Elementor – Header, Footer, and Blocks plugin is compatible with WPML. I have created a short descriptive video demonstrating it — https://share.getcloudapp.com/Qwu0n4OW.
Could you please go through the video and check if you have all these settings? If yes, then I will recommend you to please open ticket through our support forum so that we can take a look at this closely.
@vanessakoay22 – We had fixed the design issue of menu with translation plugins in EHF v1.5.3, could you please confirm once if you have EHF updated? If yes, then please open a ticket, we will take a look further.
Looking forward to resolving this ASAP.

Prajakta
Hello Prajakta,
your video has been very useful. Thanks!π
I have achieved to change the menu when clicking a different language. ππ½ The only thing that doesn’t change is the links that are not included in the navigation menu. For example the logo. I am using your logo image widget and when I am in a secondary language, when clicking the logo it turns to the home, but with the default language. The same happens with other blocks with links (not menu).
The links of all the website get updated when clicking “Translate links” in WPML configuration, except the links included on Header, Footer, Blocks.
Is there a setup option I have missed?
Thanks for your help.
Hello, I am back! π
Another thing… I’m not able to translate the placeholder in the “Search widget”. It doesn’t appear in the WPML string section.
Thanks for your time. π
Hello @iamrobotjuggler,
Apologies for the inconvenience caused!
Elementor – Header, Footer, and Blocks widgets do not support WPML as of now. However, an update related to this will be shipped soon.
As of now, as a workaround, we will recommend you to translate the required links and contents manually. For example —
1) Turn off the WPML’s Translation editor and click on ‘+’ for the version of the header in another language.
2) Then, for the header template in another language, please replace the link manually.
I have added the below links for now —
a) English Template — https://share.getcloudapp.com/2NujRWvj
b) French Template — https://share.getcloudapp.com/bLuwDyKe
3) This is working properly after switching the template — https://share.getcloudapp.com/mXu6nvGP
This same procedure needs to be followed for the translation of the placeholder of the Search widget.
I hope this explanation helps. Please let me know how can I help you further.

Prajakta Suryawanshi
Thanks for the quick response! π
So the only way at the moment is to do it manually, OK I understand.
I was talking with WPML support and to fix the problem with the URL in the logo they have suggested me changing site_url(); for home_url(); in the plugins logo variable. I share this with you in case it’ts helpful when updating the plugin to support WPML translation.
Thanks for your time Prajakta, have an awesome day! π
Hello @iamrobotjuggler,
Thank you for the information!
We will surely consider it while working for the compatibility with WPML.
Have a great day ahead!
