    Hello.
I tried several times to install the plugin, on the dashboard first, then uploading the zip file from the admin area, and unzip the file by FTP.
    But returns me this problem:

    [24-Jun-2021 09:29:36 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Zend_Db_Statement_Exception: WP DB Error: [1146] Table 'database.wp__tltb_matomo_option' doesn't exist SQL: SELECT option_value, option_name FROMdatabase_matomo_option WHERE autoload = 1 in /home/example/public_html/wp-content/plugins/matomo/classes/WpMatomo/Db/WordPress.php:407

    #5 /home/example/pu in /home/example/public_html/wp-content/plugins/matomo/classes/WpMatomo/Db/WordPress.php on line 407

Is there a way to solve it?
At this moment I had to delete the plugin.
    Thanks.

Well, not all bad comes to hurt!
I installed in a separate folder Matomo on-premise with its database.
    Perhaps, is better this way.
Great software, I have to learn to use it a proper way, but I’m glad -:)
    Regards!
