Plugin doesn't keep custom settings when deactivating it

Nowadays it’s really usual, that you need to disable your plugins from time to time, to search for plugin conflicts.

This is fatal with this plugin (when you de-activate it), because all individual settings will be lost!

This needs urgently to be fixed!
