Cookie consent banner style is completely broken.
All content for cookie consent banner is displayed inline under the website footer. We do not experience this issue if we use the script tag from CookieYes website.

Plugin is unable to sign-in to CookieYes account stating incorrect credentials. I have no issues signing into CookieYes’s website with the same credentials.

When trying the reset password link on the plugin
This sends me a link within an email that when clicked, takes you to your CookieYes dashboard instead of providing the user with the ability to reset their password even though I do not need to reset my password the plugin needs to be fixed so that it accepts either my email address or password.

Cookie scanner does not work, finding it difficult to get a straight answer as to why the scanner is not working.
Support agents reply suggests that the cookie scanner is a web crawler, however no other web crawler has any problems with indexing our site.

    Hi @wurds,

    Greetings from CookieYes!

Regarding the password reset issue, could you please try again by opening the password reset link in an incognito window?

Also, we can help you to fix the banner styling issue if you could keep our banner active on your site.

We are investigating your issue with scanning and will share the update once we find the cause. By that time, it seems like the cookies are loading on your site on scroll only. So please try a scan after deactivating the optimization and cache plugins on your site. And you can reactivate the same after the scan finishes.

    Hi @wurds,

We have an update on your query. Could you please initiate a scan after changing the registered URL in CookieYes from www.engagecrm.co.uk to https://www.engagecrm.co.uk and disabling the optimisation to run scripts only on mouse movement?

To change your site URL, please navigate to the Subscriptions page and click the More […] button associated with your site.

Hi Thank you for your reply.

The site URL shows as http://www.engagecrm.co.uk “without http : // wordpress forums is throwing this in for some reason” currently within the cookieyes subscription area
When attempting to change this to https://www.engagecrm.co.uk

    we get the error message:
    “Website already exist”

We have managed to find a password which the plugin would accept:
only need to get the cookie scan to work now

The last issue with the plugin is the styling,
This is what the banner currently looks like on our site,
I don’t think we will be able to use the script tag from CookieYes as I have only been able to complete a scan from the plugin now that it has allowed me to connect to my CookieYes account.

    Can you advise?

    Kind Regards,

    Hi @wurds,

Sorry for the inconvenience you had while changing the site URL. Your URL has been updated correctly now. So please initiate a scan now after ensuring the below changes:

    1. Please disable all the cache and optimisation plugins on your site.
    2. It seems like the CookieYes legacy plugin is currently active on your site. So please migrate it to the revamped version by referring to this thread. Then only you will be able to connect the plugin to your existing CookieYes site. (P.S: You can also install the CookieYes script to your site without using the CookieYes plugin)

After the scan completion, you can reactivate the cache and optimisation plugins. But please make sure that you have excluded the plugin scripts from optimisations.

    Hi,
The migrate to v2 functionality of the plugin has solved the remaining issues (&migrate parameter),
