I had the same issue and I solved as follow (all started with the last update of the plugin):
access the file manager and change the name of the plugin folder – I just added an underscore prefix (keep the filemanager page open);
go to the classic wp-admin page and enter the backend of your site;
switch to the file manager and rename the plugin folder to its original name;
switch to the backend of your site, check that WPS Hide login is active, check its settings and save, go to permalink tab and save.
I don’t know what is the issue, but I solved this way in two wordpress installations.
I hope this helps.
Thanks for answering, but this solution doesn’t work for me.
I am in the same situation and the plugin is very good. I need someone to assist me to solve it.
Thanks
Hello,
Indeed, you have to go to the settings and choose your connection url, default / login and then refresh your permalinks.
I have already done that.
I use the plugin on other sites and I have no problem, but in the last two sites I have this situation.
The only thing in common is that I used Elementor maintenance mode on these sites, and the redirection of your plugin stopped working.
Did you try to remove elementor maintenance.
If it comes from this plugin, change the plugin to put in maintenance mode.
In one of the sites I no longer have the maintenance mode and the problem persists.
I cannot enter from wp-admin and neither from the url that I put in the configuration of your plugin.
For example: the new url would be /newlogin, when I write it, wordpress redirects me to xxx.com/?newlogin, does wordpress add a ? in the url and it doesn’t work, the same does if i put wp-admin
I he problem occurs with the enable cache plugin.
They are not compatible.
There is a cache plugin that is verified to work correctly.
Remember to exclude this page from the cache in this case.
