[Plugin: Dropdown Navigation Menus] The CSS is not being applied

I tried installing the menu via the provided template tag. None of the widget settings, including those for the template tag, seemed to take effect. The menu appeared as a standard bulleted list no matter what I tried — none of the CSS that makes a menu horizontal or nested would take effect.
