[Plugin: Duplicate Post] Copy featured image when cloning a custom post type

    I’m using v 2.2 of the plugin, which works mostly flawlessly, but there is a feature I would like to see: copying the featured image of a custom post type when cloning it.

    I use it on a CPT with custom taxonomies and they are copied fine, just the featured image is not passed along.

    Is this possible in the current setup, or would it be possible to make it available? I would be happy to help figure it out if needed.

    My plugin should already copy the featured images, I regularly use it in several blogs and it doesn’t miss any.
    One thing I can think of is that they all use “standard” posts, not custom types… but I can’t see how it should affect the behaviour.

    I’ll try to find out… Can you try (just to test) to add a featured image to a standard post, then clone it and see if the image is preserved? It would be a very helpful test…
