[Plugin: Easy FancyBox] Iframe Display Options

    It seems that currently the only way to display iframe content by itself is to create a blank template in WordPress and then link to it. This is terrible 🙁

    Apologies if this issue has already been mentioned…

    What if the page that has the iframe content comes up in a google search. I don’t want my visitors to see just content without a header, footer, etc.

    Is there anyway possible to get an iframe popup to work without use of a blank template (AND without using hidden inline content).

    I’m worried I’m going to have to find a different plugin 🙁 although I really like Easy FancyBox.

    Sorry, that’s just how iframes work. It’s not within the scope of FancyBox to control how the content of the iframe is shown or how it behaves… It would actually be a security vulnerabitlity if that were possible.

    What you are looking for are asynchronous requests (ajax) to load different content inline upon user clicks. This is not a feature of Easy FancyBox.

    Or you could add some javascript on the child page (that you are loading in the iframe) that detects if it is inside the top frame or not, and if not, hides stuff like header, menu, sidebars and footer… You can use a so-called break-out script to use the “detect-if-not-in-a-top-frame” but replace the actual breaking out part with javascript that hides all sections you do not want in your iframe.

    Granted, it would be a nice feature but it depends to heavily on the theme to be something that could be implemented in a generic plugin.
