Btw, I can’t use categories or tags to separate posts in separate pages (the reason I’m using your plugin).
Could you describe a bit more about your site? Why don’t you create a custom taxonomy for determining which posts appear on which pages?

Thanks for the reply. First, I realize that this is way beyond the scope of your plugin so I don’t want you to spend too much time on this.
The posts that I’m trying to organize by “bloglist” pages are custom featured posts (within the theme)and have their own taxonomy. The reason for this is that there is a slider on the front page which only these posts end up on.
I don’t have the option to select tags or categories for these posts, so the only way I could think to organize these posts is with custom statuses. I’ve created custom statuses and applied them to various featured posts and they show up correctly in their respective blog posts. But when clicked, to view the full post, it shows up as a 404 not found. When logged in I can see the full post so I suspect that anything but a ‘published’ status is only viewable by the admin.
I don’t want to make changes to WordPress core files but is there a way to change the plugin files or create a filter which will allow for other post statuses to be viewed by anyone?
Cheers

This really isn’t the intention of custom statuses, and I’d encourage you to take another approach. You can publish all of your posts, and create a hierarchical custom taxonomy to sort them as you need to. That document should help get you started.

I totally understand. I’ll look at doing it another way.
