My site is down from this plugin. With this error being thrown:

I have rolled back to the version 1.7.13 as a temporary fix.

Seems like an oversight. While fixing the vulnerabilities this was overlooked. I am working on a fix now and will release a hotfix soon.

A fix has been implemented and a new release is ready in Github: https://github.com/XjSv/Cooked/releases/tag/v1.7.15.2

We are waiting for the release to be officially published in WordPress.

Appreciate the quick response, thank you!

    Agreed! Very fast work!

I helped a customer update the PHP version to 8.2 and the error went away as well! But, it’s ideal to keep 7.4 supported since WordPress Core is still officially supported up to 7.4.

Looking forward to seeing v1.7.15.2 show on the Plugins page, as it currently still shows v1.7.15.1. Have a great weekend!

hello there! I am not super savvy with my website and I got this same error message. I temporarily deactivated cooked so the rest of my site can work. Can someone provide instructions on how to fix it so my recipes come back? I’m super lost! Thank you thank you!

Thanks for your patience everyone. Yet another release it ready on GitHub: https://github.com/XjSv/Cooked/releases/tag/v1.7.15.3 This is due to another issue reported here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/issues-with-recipe-overview

Currently working on getting it up on WordPress so everyone can receive the update. But as always, if you can’t wait you can always download it manually from GitHub and update your site manually.

@saridiskin Sorry for the trouble it has caused you. The new release should fix the problems. Right now with v1.7.15.1 you would need to have PHP 8.0 or greater in your server.

@ianrlp @wpealbert @saridiskin The 1.7.15.3 version is officially out and you should be able to receive the update now. Let me know if this resolves the issues.

I am trying to update our PHP version to 8.2 but this plugin is creating a critical error. If I deactivate the plugin then PHP 8.2 works perfect.

I see from the thread above this was fixed and can grab the update from Github version 1.7.15.3 — however, my plugin shows the version 2.4.3. What am I missing? The plugin is Cooked Classic.

@sladestyle I only started to maintain this plugin as of recently and I was not part of the Cooked Classic version. As I understand it Cooked Classic is no longer available or maintained. I would strongly recommend that you install the latest version from the official WordPress repository which should be version 1.8.1.

The new version of Cooked has a migration module that will convert all your recipes from Cooked Classic to the new version of Cooked.
