Hi Raonip,
Unfortunately, the plug-in doesn’t currently ‘localise’. But, this is something I am certainly interested in doing. I simply need the volunteers to help translate it!If you (or anybody else) would be interested in helping translate the plug-in (into any language) then please leave a comment here or contact me directly, or through the plug-in’s web page.
Hi,
I could help you with Portuguese Brazil! Just send me the POT file and I can translate!!
Thanks very much!!! Thats a great plugin!!!
Raonip,
Glad you like it 😀I’ve created a topic about this on the plug on the plug-in’s web page. If you could leave a comment, I’d be able to e-mail you the POT file once I’ve made the plug-in localisation-friendly. The would be to include any translations in the next release.
Many thanks,
StephenHi…..just posted in you Site!!!
Really thanks!!
Hi, great plugin for such a recurring need,
I will be glad to help you with french translation and/or any development task.Just let me know
Good luck
Hi moonshield,
Thanks for the offer, but somebody has already offered to do a French translation.Currently I have had offers to translate the plug-in into Spanish, Basque, Portugese (Brazil), French & German.
These, I hope will be included in the release of Event Organiser 1.2 due sometime next week.
Hi,
I can offer the hungarian translation, and to make it WPML combatible is a great idea!
And please tell me, how to diplay the address of the venue?
Hi almasig, thanks!
The POT template is shipped with the plug-in, so if you could translate it and send it back to me, it’ll be much appreciated. If you leave a comment on this topic on the plug-in website, now/when you’re done, I’ll be able to contact you about and include the translation in the plug-in.As for displaying the address of a venue, see the documentation of:
eo_get_venue_address. It returns an associative array of the venue address details.Great thanks,
somthing go wrong with the eo_is_allday(), its checked in event’s backend but in the front and always diplays the not allday time format …so like 2012.02.05 0:00 am
Any idea?
Hi almasig, thanks for reporting this. A small error in the code, you can use
eo_is_all_dayin the template files instead – and that should work. Thanks
nice recover! Great plugin! Great supp!
One more thing! How can I get the featured image thumbnail in event list?
Featured images are handled in the same way as ordinary posts. You just use the WordPress function
the_post_thumbnailin the templatesThanks to those who’ve sent in translation files. The plug-in comes with a French translation, and German and Spanish will be added shortly.
