[Plugin: Events Calendar] Category color coding

I believe currently this plugin allows you to categorize your events (ie – concert, play, get together, ect.).

What I want to know is if anyone has successfully added a color coding option for different event categories in the calendar view. This seems like it would be a great addition to an awesome plugin, but maybe it’s already there and I’m missing something.
