HELP!! Anyone know how to fix the Double entry in the Admin area tool bar. WordPress has its own Events Tool/menu and after I installed Event Manager Plugin, it also created a NEW Events tool/menu in the Admin area. How do I get rid of the original Events tool/menu. I do not want others that have access to accidentally create events using the old/original WordPress Events tool.
    Here is a link http://new.bearcreekchurch.com/images/dual-events-tool.jpg
to what my Admin Menu bar looks like with the Dual “Events” tool I need to remove the bottom one – that uses the original WordPress events app.

looks to me like you have another plugin for events activated, or your theme is adding an event menu there (e.g. if your theme is event related, it might).

I have ecclesia theme and that theme, like most basic themes, have an Events tool… built into wordpress. (the default events tool.
I would have thought that Events Manager Plugin would overwrite or hide the original Events menu/tool, but it did not. Thus, I have to admin menus named Events. Only want to keep the new Events Manager Plugin.
The default Events tool built into the theme/wordpress is NOT a plugin, thus I can not Deactivate it. Need to find out what file needs to be edited or how to remove that default Events menu.
