Please can you advise if it possible and if so how can I change the event URL to be on a different attribute (ie the date).

I still want to link to the same URL I just want to be able to have the link on say the date text rather than the default link text.

you can also just change the slug of the event link from the edit event panel (admin area, i think the bp area too)
