[Plugin: Events Manager] Date Format Problem on Add Event screen

When I add an event using the calendar picker it is using the European format dd/mm/yy which is incorrect, on the actual event page is shows up as mm/dd/yy which is correct.
How can I fix this to show all dates in the US format?
